Trouble Shooting

1) CabinetCut is slow to open,or only gets as far as the Graphics Viewer on startup.

CabinetCut will periodically check online for updates at startup- Windows Firewall may prevent CabinetCut from checking online, and CabinetCut may keep trying to connect for some time before proceeding with normal startup.

Go to Controll Panel>Security Center> Manage Security Settings- Firewall and then select the Exceptions tab. Check the box CabinetCut.exe

2) Some Menu Functions don't work

The Help Menu and the Register Menu involve connections to the internet to transfer you to a website. If you don't have an intenet connection these functions won't work, but also some settings of Firewall may affect them as well (see above)

3) CabinetCut won't run.

CabinetCut requires Java 1.5 or greater to be installed on your computer. If you have installed CabinetCut and don't have java installed, you will get a message like this

Windows users can go to http:www.java.com to download the required software.

Machintosh users need to get the update from Apple by using the Software Update menu command found in the apple menu.

4) Licensing Problems

License Control is provided by a third party who specialise in this.

Please read this for information on licemsing you product.

5) Support

IIf you have carefully read these help pages, and still cannot resolve a problem, please feel free to email support@cabinetcut for further help
