Setting Preferences

The preference window is accesed from the File Menu.

The top two controls apply to the view whilst the optimisation is in progress. On slower machines, the refresh rate can be increased to allow the screen to re-draw each sheet of material during optimisation. The checkbox "Show panel progress" draws a second progress bar to show progress of individual sheets. On faster machines, except when each sheet contains hundreds of panels, the optimisation process is over too quickly to require these controls to be set.

Pre-set material sheet sizes

Use this table to enter in your standard sheet sizes. Initially set to some common MDF sheet sizes in Australia, edit these sizes to suit your own requirements. There is no limit to the amount of sizes that can be pre-set into this table.

To edit item in the table, click on the item line in the table; the data from the item line will be copied to the edit boxes above. The edit-boxes will turn yellow to show you are in edit mode. When you have made the changes required, press either ENTER or REMOVE to confirm the edit.

When you have finished with the preference window, close the window and your preferences will be saved.
