Optimising with and without grain

There are two radio buttons on the upper right hand side of the window, "grain" and "no grain".

When cutting panels from board with a definite grain direction, panels are added to the sheet in the orientation that they are entered.

When cutting panels from board with no grain, such as white melamine, or raw MDF, the orientation of the panel is changed to the most efficient direction.
